THREE RED BENCHES IN MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF FEMINICIDE

On a day as significant as November 25, the charitable associations of Andria, plus the supporting sponsors who are committed to the fight against environmental pollution and promote Remembrance and Respect, are organizing an open-air day at the urban forest of Andria.

Among these participants was also Jadea, present during the morning at the Green Oasis where various activities took place including: the performance of the national anthem, the choir performance of a school group that interpreted a piece written for the occasion, the speech of Dr. Donato Raimondi vice president of the forum "Ricorda Rispetta" and Dr. Patrizia Lomuscio founder of the anti-violence association "Riscoprirsi".

Finally, a deferred speech by Mayor Giovanna Bruno, the unveiling of the 3 red benches in memory of the victims of femicide and the planting of a lime tree, considered the symbol of women, friendship, tenderness and fidelity.

Planting trees means rediscovering and being reborn, sowing the seed of well-being for the entire community. It is a sign of renewal of greenery and health, understood as a rediscovery of respect for women, symbols of life, continuity and change.

The invitation is to respect public greenery for our well-being and above all to give a positive follow-up to what happened on November 28, 2023 to Vincenza Angrisano and like her to many other women. To instill love, awareness and respect for life.
